Class Descriptions

Intro to Sol Yoga

This class is designed for those with limited yoga experience who desire to get the most out of their efforts and practice. Our Intro to Yoga class will teach you all the essential elements and fundamentals to build and grow a sound and rewarding practice. Even if you already have several yoga classes under your belt we recommend our Intro to Yoga class at least once for its highly insightful approach to basic yogic mind-body-spirit techniques, as well as the review of proper alignment and movement through each posture. This class will not only break down the postures and movements taught in our level 1-2 class in a safe and effective manner, but will also teach you several time honored principles to deepen your mind-body-spirit connection and greatly enhance the enjoyment of your practice!

 

Power 1 - Vinyasa Power Flow

Power1 is a classic and vigorous Power Vinyasa sequence appropriate for beginner to intermediate students. Power1 is heated to 95 degrees and emphasis is placed on core strength, balance, focus, and breath with movement.This class is designed to teach and motivate beginners with the fundamentals for a healthy and rewarding practice. It is an inspiring sequence of linked postures which stimulates flexibility, healing, blood flow, detoxification, muscle toning and stamina.

 

Power 2 - Vinyasa Power Flow

Power2 is accessible to intermediate and advanced practitioners. This dynamic class is heated to 100-105 degrees and introduces additional postures. Power2 is not sequenced, allowing students to explore new movement with every breath. This class builds and accentuates on the fundamentals taught in Level 1. It is a faster paced class where we encourage our teachers to grow and evolve with their students. Additional postures and flows are introduced, your heart rate will quicken, the heat is turned up, your muscles will tone and strengthen, the calories will burn away and your spirits will soar to new heights.

 

Power 1-3

Power1-3 is a Power Vinyasa heated to 95 degrees and taught to the level of students present. The primary concept of this class is to offer many common postures to our students, then offer the more challenging variations for those who desire to explore deeper. Many common postures have three and four simple variations for you to explore! Have fun, be safe, and most importantly,.....enjoy the experience and challenge!

 

Yoga Surge

Yoga Surge is a total body workout adding functional exercises and plyometrics to help you avoid hitting plateaus. Yoga Surge will emphasize core, increase mental focus, tone and build muscle, increase stamina, and create more strength in each posture. Heated to 95 degrees and recommended for intermediate and advanced students.

 

Hot Hatha Fusion

Hot Hatha Fusion blends the flow and rhythm of Vinyasa with the strength and stillness of Hatha Yoga. Taught in a candlelit room, postures are held longer and deeper, allowing you to explore your breath, body and endurance. Heated to 104 degrees and open to all levels.

 

Hot Improv

Hot Improv is a dynamic flow that moves at a slower pace than our Power classes. Hot Improv is heated to 95-100 degrees and open to all levels. Each class is designed to encourage students to play with their limits and explore different parts of their practice. In this comfortable and fun environment, students are able to experience postures they never thought possible! The yogic concept behind this class is to embrace and explore change. Expect the unexpected, but most importantly, expect to challenge new parts of your body, have fun and grow.
