Kelsey is an avid athlete, marathon-runner, hiker, snowboarder, and surfer. She started practicing yoga as a supplement to sports activity, and would typically attend only to heal an injury. After alleviating numerous injuries and illnesses through consistent yoga practice, Kelsey became intrigued by the potential power within this ancient science.
In July 2008, she attended Teacher Training at the ashram, Yoga Vidya Gurukul in Nasik, India. She is convinced that with regular yoga practice, we can discover a true sense of ourselves, a pathway to wellness, and a greater sense of unity with the world around us.
Kelsey has acquired a wealth of personal yoga experience practicing Iyengar, Ashtanga, Hatha and Bikram Yoga since 1999. She has taught myriad students from many parts of the world, and is currently studying to obtain her diploma in Naturopathy. Kelsey’s teaching approach highlights the healing and preventative benefits of yoga to provide a comprehensive, alignment- based practice. She firmly believes that with repetition, dedication, and faith, anything can be accomplished.
