Sarah Haughton, a certified RYT through Yoga Alliance, received her 200 hour training from Yoga to the People, New York City.
Her yoga practice and teaching emphaes the ability to find new strength and breath in every moment, both on and off the mat.
Sarah discovered yoga as a teenager, and continued to return to the mat throughout her life, using yoga as a balance to rugby, kickboxing, running, and softball. Yoga was a huge tool for her in recovery from an ACL injury and surgery, and she has continued to explore the many ways that a consistent and dedicated yoga practice can heal and restructure both body and mind.
Sarah views yoga as an opportunity to delight in the experience of the body and breath, to strengthen both body and mind, and to create community. A yoga practice should be fun and playful, where each student is met exactly where s/he is, and builds from there to where s/he desires to be.
